Hey there - I am Shannon, your Raleigh, North Carolina Studio Photographer! I am an outdoor enthusiast with a master’s degree in wildlife biology. My thesis research was on Red-tailed Hawks and while I eventually left wildlife research to a career in clinical research, I have always felt a strong connection to nature and the outdoors. This led to my eventual purchase of my Sony Alpha 7III camera and a 200-600mm lens.

While out photographing eagles at Shelley Lake, I met Rob Tomlinson of Cutting Edge Studios on Six Forks Road in Raleigh. This introduction led to the opening of my business!
