Evergreen Photography Gives Back

Happy Holidays to all!

For this Giving Tuesday, I wanted to give back to a local North Carolina charity as well as a global charity.

First, I donated to the Triangle Land Conservancy, which has some of my favorite nature preserves, such as Horton Grove in Durham and Johnston Mill in Chapel Hill.

Check them out here: https://triangleland.org/

This organization supports tree canopy, biodiversity, farmland, clean water, and so much more.

Here are a few photos of mine that were possible thanks to the wonderful work they do.

You don’t have to be a birder or wildlife enthusiast to appreciate the green space we have around us & the health benefits that come with it.

I plan to continue supporting this organization as pressure on canopy cover continues.

AND I highly recommend their preserves for outdoor shoots.

Next up, another deserving charity, The Peregrine Fund

Check them out here: https://peregrinefund.org/

The Peregrine Fund supports global birds of prey research & conservation.

Birds of prey include species such as Bald Eagles, Osprey, Vultures, Falcons, etc.

Too many of our birds of prey have faced near extinction due to pesticides such as DDT, lead poisoning, and other human-influenced mortalities.

Bald eagles actually got down to less than 500 individuals at one point!

Special to me is the California Condor, which was down to just 22 individuals!!! Back up to ~560 now!

I was able to see these guys in the wild a few years back and I highly recommend it for anyone that loves birds & wildlife!

Check out Navajo Bridge in Arizona!

Choosing a photographer can be overwhelming!

When you book with me, you’ll book with someone who gives 110% to every shoot, makes sure you have fun, and gives back to the community at the end of the day.
