Family Photos in June - Apex, North Carolina

Hi there! It’s Shannon your Raleigh and surrounding areas portrait, studio, and nature photographer! July has been a hot one, but it was a great opportunity to dig into some photos and get editing!

I initially booked this shoot as part of my Mother’s Day special - see Mom and her three daughters above!

BUT the more the merrier and these photos turned into a family photo shoot - with all of the small groups included.

This was such a fun group and the photos show it!

We selected Seagroves Farm Park in Apex, a small but accessible and low key park with views you normally have to fight other groups over or hike a mile in for!

The park provided both water overlook locations as well as dense trees in the background - the drought is no match for the pond at this Apex location!

While it can be hard to coordinate schedules, decide on outfits, and select a location - photos with grandma and grandkids, siblings, and everything in between are the reason family photos are so near and dear to my heart.
